Why it's flooding only in East Bengaluru?

Media is showing Bengaluru is flooded.

But it's not highlighting why only newly created Concrete Jungle areas like IT CORRIDOR, PG (paying guest), high rised apartment buildings are flooded ? 

Stop converting Namma Bengaluru Lakes, forest area into IT hubs, stop cutting Century old trees, construct drainages, plant trees.   This issue will never arrise....

Learn from our OLD BENGALURU areas ( Jayanagar, JP Nagara, Banashankari, Basaveshwarnagar, Uttarahalli, Vijayanagar, Malleswaram, Rajajinagar, Basavanagudi, Sadashivnagar, Seshadripuram etc....
