Real story……

Daughter : Mamma, I cant live with my husband anymore, I will divorce him.

Mom : Why beta, what happened ? what’s the issue ?

Daughter : he doesn’t do single basic household work.

he doesn’t know to iron his cloths, nor polish is shoes or how to operate a washing machine.

he will not even remove his used  coffee mug, dinner plate or banana/apple/orange peel.

Leave all that even just to  take water from the kitchen he will call me.

Mom : Seekh Lega beta tension mat le  ( he will learn, don’t take tension ) he is good guy, for such small issue you are saying divorce and all…

Son ( screaming) : Mom…….Can you give me kerchief I am running late.

Mom : Paused for a minute... yes you are right. Your husband doesn’t know anything.

This is a request for all moms,  don’t differentiate on gender  while teaching household works to your children.

Let your son learn how to mop the floor and let your daughter learn how to replace  tube light.

Let’s promote gender equality.
