Today's satyagraha organized by Gram Seva Sangh was indeed irresistible. The 7 hours (9 am to 4 pm) fasting started with a simple prayer. Our mentor Prasanna Heggodu addressing a large gathering ( predominantly youngsters from college) spoke about the need for tolerance and its effectiveness in today's society.

The day-long event consisted of singing, craft display, meditation, music, spinning workshop, skit, drama, fashion show, discussion, and street play.  Thanks to all the artists, craftspeople, volunteers, mentors, satyagrahis and the rain god for making this day memorable.
